The head of the school
2021Ella Prins She was the head of the school, which grew from about 50 to 500 students under her leadership. Misses and masters came under her leadership. And now she can retire in this profession. Time for all other activities. Energetic, powerful, gentle and involved. And thinking in possibilities.

Development
2019Rita's work is always evolving. Whereby she likes to work freely, as can be seen e.g. in this self-portrait containing the portrait of her daughter. She also paints portraits on commission, whereby the client's request is incorporated into a painting in the desired format. This painting was inspired by the year of Rembrandt and the red blood moon in early 2019.
Portret of my daughter
2019Painted in response to a call to be inspired by an old master. After watching a TV broadcast about Frans Hals, I came up with this idea. A good opportunity to portray my precious daughter Silvana.

2011Born in the spring, my mother. At the age of 81 portrayed in front of her beloved blossom tree. Here she looks at my dad while watching and thinking. I hope that we three will have a good number of years to enjoy each other.

Togetherness
2009During midsummernicht I painted some impressions, among that this groupportret. People could meet each other that night, or just absorb or share the special athmosphere, of sacretdance, Tibetan Singing Bowls. I watched these people and felt inspired to paint the meeting.
