Various birds, paintings with birds, because they are so inspiring. A number because there is a commission comb, which stimulated to paintings But birds, in the air, or on land or in the water, I find wonderful to watch and to listen to.

I stand on the beach, the wind in my hair, and look around me. Above me the herring gull flies, very agile and light. my eyes follow his flight and I get that feeling of freedom, and float on the streams. On own strength, in balance and attentively. I feel my breath deep in and out and become one with that feeling and find peace ..

On our walks along the coast, my eyes also often rest on the water. And in the reflection my feeling comes along, and I follow the gaze of a seemingly pensive herring gull.

While I am on holiday, abroad, the sparrows take it too. In the warm summer sun, I see small groups playing along the edge of a lake. The colors are so natural that it is as if they are wearing a camouflage suit. With the soaking, the water that gently drifts on the bank breaks into small shiny waves.

These animals where so excited and her sitting in the sand caught my attention so I took photo's and video to use them for later source of inspiration in my series around the rear end of animals. But is n't it sweet how both are so busy laying an egg, they just enlighten my spirit  by their simple joy. In the second painting they are dancing with the egg from happyness
