The Hoogekampse plas is a piece of water( and land) that after a time as a garbage dump. has been addressed and then taken into protection as a nature area. You can often find bird watchers there with their binoculars to see what birds and bird species are present. At least it is a safe nesting area for the bank swallow. I occasionally include the area in my walking route.
