Rita's work is always evolving. Whereby she likes to work freely, as can be seen e.g. in this self-portrait containing the portrait of her daughter. She also paints portraits on commission, whereby the client's request is incorporated into a painting in the desired format. This painting was inspired by the year of Rembrandt and the red blood moon in early 2019.
