Rita Camphuijsen

This mural on the Eurusweg in De Bilt was created in collaboration with the La Plata neighborhood initiative. Elements from the area – the eastern wind, children from the Regenboog School – are interwoven with my love of nature. The nearby Hoogekampse Plas served as a key source of inspiration: I wanted to "break open the wall" to offer a glimpse of this special nature reserve. Encounters with residents and passersby added extra meaning to the process. The work was festively unveiled together with Mayor Maarten Haverkamp.
