Mother and child
2024Mother and child, a scene from 65 years ago, brought into new light for the recently celebrating baby. Grateful that with this I could also fulfill a heart's desire.

2014In a dream I had to participate in a collective project the job. But I turned around and thought I'd actually prefer .... With my waking'm in the challenge and painted what I actually prefer .........
My old Amsterdam
2016The Amsterdam I grew up in. Although I lived in the suburbs. Growing up I avoided the city, loved nature more, did see the birds catching fish from the canals. The immense bustle that always bothered me is not always everywhere and in all places. And certainly not on this corner that I cycled over so often, also with my father on a work / school day. The Keizersgracht Reguliersgracht, Called 'the seven bridges'. And cycled past. It wasn't until I left that I felt that I had roots there that cannot be ignored. I really like the history in the streets.

2003The pier. One of the first paintings when I decided to start painting again. Watercolor was my starting medium.
